Instant Encore

The Cleveland International Piano Competition proudly announces a partnership with InstantEncore.com, the new digital classical music community designed to provide audiences with the resources to easily find and enjoy live classical music anywhere and anytime.

InstantEncore.com was launched in early September and is adding content on a daily basis.  The Competition’s “boutique” within the site currently offers a video interview and music downloads from 2007 First Prize Winner Alexander Ghindin.  Also featured are solo performances by the four 2007 finalists, Yaron Kohlberg of Israel (second prize), Alexandre Moutouzkine of Russia (third prize) and Ran Dank of Israel (fourth prize).  The site will continue to add content on an ongoing basis, including a recital Mr. Ghindin will perform in Cleveland on May 23, and music downloads from many of the organization’s laureates.

The site is quickly becoming the Internet’s primary destination for classical music lovers around the world.  Visitors can find concert information, customize their homepage to follow their favorite artists, ensembles and conductors, download music, enjoy video and audio streaming of concerts, access Podcasts and pre-concert talks, and sign up for Inside Scoop: email alerts about new digital content from their favorites. There is no subscription fee to login and enjoy InstantEncore.

The Cleveland International Piano Competition is one of the 14 founding partners of InstantEncore.com, and is the only international piano competition presently represented.

CDs from the 2007 Competition, including those of the other contestants, may be purchased by calling Azica Records at 216-681-0778.
