THE WINNERS RETURNED!
What a concert! Martina Filjak, First Prize winner in 2009, and Alexander Ghindin, First Prize winner in 2007, earned standing ovations from a wildly enthusiastic audience on Friday, June 11 at Severance Hall. Performing solo works, then taking the stage together for piano duos, the artists reminded everyone in the audience why the Competition jurors singled them out for First Prize honors.
